| Staff and partners at Harrow and Southend-based chartered accountants RDP Newmans have celebrated a special silver anniversary.
Paul Stafford, managing partner at the firm’s Southend office, joined the firm in 1987 as a trainee before rising through the ranks. Paul qualified as an accountant in 1996 and is now a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Partners and staff members joined Paul for a celebratory meal and presentation, where Paul was thanked for his time at the firm by the presentation of a celebratory special cake. Roger Nyman from the firm said: “Paul is “Mr RDP Newmans” and has been heavily involved in the firm’s expansion and development over the last two and bit decades. “Without Paul’s hard-work, dedication and loyalty, the firm would not be in the position it is today as the one of the leading independent firms of accountants in the South East. “Since beginning life as Newman and Partners more than 50 years ago, the firm now has grown significantly over the years and now has 10 partners across our two offices. “Paul has been particularly influential in strengthening our office in Southend and was a key player behind our recent merger with fellow Southend accountants Hedges & Chandler. “Staff were delighted to have the opportunity to show their appreciation for what Paul has done for the firm over the last 25 years.” |
